Brithplace and origin

DQ was born in London, England, and has grown there ever since. Music has always been an important part of his life, as he has loved performing since the age of six.

2008-2009: V.I.R.T.U.E

In mid-late 2008, plans were made to create a new album entitled "The Unidentified Plan." However, the name was scrapped and then changed to V.I.R.T.U.E. DQ quoted in a recent interview that the letters of the word virtue "would stand for different things in his life." He also revealed that he had trouble with the track listing, as there were "too many weak productions and not enought great songs." On November 3, 2008, Not Anymore was released, but as a buzz track only, as it wouldn't "appeal" to the general public. The album is scheduled to be released on the 30th of March, 2009. The song entered at 581 on the ReverbNation Band Equity Charts. It has picked up a lot of airplay on MySpace and considerable airplay on CDFuse. Shawty, which met with favourable reviews, is the first official single off the album and the release date is the 16th of January.

2009 - 2010: Being Myself

DQ stated in mid 2009 that there is a planned "new album coming out." The album is said to have a more "soulful, rockier and edgier sound to it." The album name was originally Nostalgic Future but changed to Being Myself. DQ is teaming up with Leon Chambers on a track called Scar, which will be included on this new album. It has been reported that producers Beerjeraz, BenL, Jordan Dalrymple and AssasiNation will team up with DQ on Being Myself. This album is scheduled for a release as early as November 2009 or as late as June 2010. An EP edition went ahead due to a recent re-arrangement in Paradisio Records and was be released to iTunes. However the EP was removed from digital in under two months due to poor sales. DQ has stated that he will take a two month hiatus, but is promising to have his album out on time with a fixed date set. The album was released on 24th of February 2010. It has been confirmed that DQ is signed to Paradisio Records under his new name.
