The Green Beanery is an unusual coffee company. A non-profit Canadian organization, the Green Beanery supports Third World development and sustainable development through its retail mandate to provide niche coffee beans produced by small farmers from around the world, that would otherwise be unavailable.
In addition to its position as Canada's most popular online coffee source, Amazon's Alexa matrix ranks Green Beanery as the world's most popular website in the category of 'coffee' and 6th for the categories of coffee and tea. Green Beanery is also Canada's largest retailer of Bodum, Bunn and Rancilio equipment.
All earnings from Green Beanery's operations support the work of Probe International, a federally registered Canadian charity that works with citizen's groups around the world to protect their lands and their livelihoods.
