Remi Broadway (born April 30 1978) is an Australian actor best known as Rupert Pringle from The Wayne Manifesto and Piffy the bell ringer from The Late ShowTemplate:Fact, which parodied his earlier appearance on the talent show Pot LuckTemplate:Fact.
He hosted an Australian children's television called Prime Possum Show on the Prime Television Network in which he starred next to the possum of the show. He appeared in that show for about 550 episodes before leaving it in 1996 to pursue a hollywood career. [1]
He also starred in the cult movie Rapid Fear alongside formidable acting talent Peter Kent and notorious klutz Vanja Matula. Rumours of a humorous incident involving Remi accidentally fisting Helen Christinson aka "Tits" were strenuously denied by Remi, however Helen refused to commentTemplate:Fact.
Remi was married in early 2009 to a Melbourne girl named Caitlyn Dick, who now features in an online serial with Remi. The show titled Dickin Remi, a clever play on his fore and her maiden names, features the insertion and removal of objects (referred to on the show as his "friends") from Remi's anus. The show has been heralded in feminist literature as expounding an alternative sexual dynamic in the heterosexual marriage with Caitlyn the more sexually aggressive.
He currently produces and directs Choose Your Own Tube, another serial on YouTube featuring wife Caitlyn Dick, among others.
