Dorian Davis[1] is an American writer and Republican pundit. He is best known for his 2002-2004 role on the show MTV Hits[2]
Davis was born March 9th 1980 in Sanford, North Carolina[3]. He attended Tisch School of the Arts at NYU from 1998 until 2002.
TV Work
Davis dropped his birth name, Jeremy Godfrey, in 2002 when he was cast on the MTV show "Beat Seekers"[4]. The series changed its name to "MTV Hits"[5] in spring 2003. Hilarie Burton hosted. Davis was invited to be a regular panelist on the show, and was voted[6] "Moment of the Year" in 2003 according to XY magazine. When Burton left the show to star on One Tree Hill, Davis wanted to replace her as host, according to an interview[7]in Fifth Avenue, but former Miss Teen USA Vanessa Minnillo was awarded the job instead. After "MTV Hits," Davis switched to the other side of the camera, heading up the research team[8] on MTV's 2004 election special "Baghdad Two-Way"[9] hosted by Gideon Yago.

Present
Now a veteran of several TV shows, Davis is making the transition to print journalism as a grad student at the City University of New York. In fall 2007, he was a writer[10] with Brainwash[11] magazine, and contributor[12] to Architectural Record.
