H&D Tuxedo and Bridal is currently based in Flint, MI. H&D Tuxedo and Bridal began as H&D Tuxedo in 1964 and was founded by Gordon Hall and Joseph Doyle. When Brad Johnson Properties purchased the business in 2007, they decided to keep the name and also to expand into bridal. The current owners have expanded the store to include an online presence as well as offering wedding favors and gown preservation. The brick and mortar store is run out of a warehouse in North Flint and has a lackluster appearance. However, the strategy of the business is to offer prices that are well below retail and to offer men an alternative to renting their tuxedos. In 2010, H&D Tuxedo launched their online store to offer customers nationwide the opportunity to find the low prices that they offer in their store.
