The production is the first reality show for Buzznation, a studio headed by celebrity talent agent and producer turned poker champion Jamie Gold. [1] The production is backed by a single sponsor Medicis Pharmaceutical, which is the maker of the Restylane cosmetic injection treatment. The show is an example of Branded entertainment [2]
Premise
Auditions began September 16, 2006 in Dallas.[3]
Each contestant is competing for a $25,000 cash prize for herself, a matching $25,000 scholarship for her children, and a year's worth of Restylane treatments from the sponsor.[4]
