History
Founded in in 1987 by Malcolm Finke and Marshall Weinstein, the retail supply company’s original name was Video Store Services. The early company focus was based primarily on providing store fixtures and supplies to the new and rapidly growing video rental industry.
Due to an ever-expanding retail supply product line, Specialty Store Services moved three times within the next ten years, before finally settling into their current 110,000 square foot facility near Chicago's O'Hare International Airport.
