The Shredding Alliance is a group of owner-managed, independent shredding providers based across the nation. This allows The Shredding Alliance to provide a single source supplier that can service businesses nationwide. They offer both on-site and off-site confidential shredding, in addition to recycling services. They have increased response times, provide value for money and focus on the overall customer experience. Their senior management team have a combined experience of over 100 years.

Advantages

The Shredding Alliance provide information management in the form of reports as part of their standard service. This allows their customers to track both their spend, as well as their recycling quantities in the entire agreement. With the importance of complying with the Data Protection Act, managing your confidential data in the correct manner can not be underestimated and The Shredding Alliance take every step to ensure full compliance.

Mobile Shredding

For businesses who like to keep things in sight, The Shredding Alliance offer services on-site. Appropriately secure containers are provided for the storage of your confidential data until the shredding trucks arrive. They can process up to 2 tonnes of paper per house and a certificate of destruction is issued when the shredding is complete.

Off-Site Shredding

The Shredding Alliance also offer shredding services at their secure facilities. The data is securely transported to relevant facility which is alarmed and has CCTV. The throughput of the shredders is somewhere between 2,000kgs to 4,000kgs per hour. High security shredding is also offered where the destruction equipment is able to turn 300kgs of paper into 2mm pieces in a single hour. After shredding, the paper is baled and sent to be recycled.

Closed Loop Recycling

The Shredding Alliance prides itself on sustainability and offers closed loop recycling. Delivered in partnership with the Robert Horne Group, paper is recycled in compliance with the data protection act. This recycled paper can then be purchased to be used again by the same business instead of being sent to a landfill.
